Despite Primus being 'neutral' in the war between the Autobots and Decepticons, the Last Autobot is pretty blatantly an Autobotmost likely because he was created eons before the Decepticon movement began and all. The War For Cybertron: Kingdom Autobot Ark has a robot mode that resembles the Last Autobot mostly in the face, waist, and thighs. The purple doesn't go very well with the red and grey, and looking back at some images from the cartoon, while Scorponok's claws are purple they're more of a blue-ish purple, which I think would've looked better than the violet we have here. While I get that the scorpion's colours are supposed to be cartoon accurate, I still don't think it looks very nice. The robot legs look too small for the rest of his body, I wouldn't be surprised if this figure has issues standing up. I like Teletraan-1/Mainframe, but I'm getting a bit of deja vu with Mainframe's robot mode, the shoulders, arms and torso remind me of Combiner Wars Silverbolt, but not to the point where I'd say it's an extensive retool or anything.Īs I've said in the other thread, I'm not really digging Scorponok. I rent an apartment now, and the Ark will probably cost just over a third of a month's rent, so I need to decide if I can really justify the price. The Ark looks really nice (even if you can see the robot legs.), but I'll need to think long and hard about whether or not I should actually get one. Kingdom will offer a new spin on the events of Beast Wars, as it seems the Autobots and Decepticons will be alive and well to take part in the battle for the missing Allspark. In that much loved time travel series, the Maximals and Predacons engage in a war with far-reaching implications on prehistoric Earth, eventually defending their ancestors the Autobots and Decepticons as they slumber in the Ark only to be awoken in 1984. The Ark crashing on prehistoric Earth with Cybertronians already on Earth - as well as the already released toy line - confirms Transformers: Kingdom will be a riff on Beast Wars, the classic 1990s iteration of the franchise.
